Negative FX

Fronted by the infamous Choke, Negative FX were one the meanest, fastest, & best hardcore bands to break out of Boston in the early eighties. Prior to recording their legendary LP for Taang!, they recorded an eight song demo. These tracks never saw the light of day until 2003, when Distortions Records finally released them on a 7'' titled the Government War Plans E.P. Enjoy!

The Crucifucks

Excuse the extended absence. Between a snowboarding trip, a new 42" Sharp Aquos, & a new PS3, I've been kind of busy. Posts will resume as regular.

Fronted by the demented Doc Corbin, The Crucifucks formed around 1981 in Lansing, Michigan. Their first record was released in 1984 on Alternative Tentacle Records (Virus 38). They would go on to release Wisconsin in 1987. A bit of a different sound from their first, but still great. The 90's saw a new line up and a couple other releases. Enjoy!

Neurosis

Neurosis developed around 1985 or 1986 in Oakland, Ca. They released the Aberration E.P. in 1989 on the local Berkley label, Lookout Records. I believe they released an album prior to this 7'' and many others since. I must say though I haven't heard anything other than this E.P. Any of you familiar with the band & their work & would like to point me in the right direction, please do. Otherwise..........Enjoy!

One Last Wish

Rites Of Spring disbanded in 1986. The remaining members (minus Michael Fellows) teamed up with Michael Hampton (Faith, Embrace) to form One Last Wish. They recorded only one session that same year at Inner Ear, but sadly was never released at the time. 13 years later it was finally released by Dischord on CD. If you love Rites Of Spring, you're gonna like One Last Wish. Enjoy!

Marginal Man

After Artificial Peace broke up in 1982, Marginal Man was formed. The following year they went to Inner Ear to record an album with Don Zientara. It was released in 1984 as Identity (Dischord #13). Along with the Faith's Subject To Change album from the previous year, this album really showed the new melodic direction the D.C. scene was heading into. My favorite tracks are Missing Rungs, Emotional Scars, & of course, Marginal Man. Enjoy!
