Riot Fest 2010 - Busted At Oz Reunion - Steve Bjorklund

Now this was the set I had been waiting for all night long. There were many great bands to come out of Chicago, but little to none possessed the ferocity of Strike Under. Now unfortunately not all the original members could make it. In fact there was only one. Steve explains why in the beginning of the set. Now although Chris, Pierre, & Bob were not able to perform, it's not like Steve just got 3 guys off the street to join him on stage. He rounded up Vic Bondi & Dave Shields of Articles of Faith as well as Joe Haggerty of Pegboy/Bloodsport. So sit back & enjoy the first (& last?) time Strike Under songs have been performed live since 1981!

These videos are awesome - top-notch picture quality, too! I'm glad I'm getting to check out this stuff.. "You Weren't There" and the Chicago scene and "Busted at Oz" etc. etc., all that stuff is practically like the bible to me.

Why couldn't Pierre play this one?

I guess he's recovering from a recent stroke. At least that's what Steve stated before their set. Was not even aware, hope he's doing ok.
