Squirrel Bait

Here's a great band from Louisville, Kentucky. Squirrel Bait released their first 8 song E.P. on Homestead records in 1985. Great melodic punk with plenty of hooks. Definite Husker Du & Naked Raygun influences. Pegboy comes to mind, although I do like these guys more. Cover art done by Steve Albini. Their second record Skag Heaven was released in 1987 on Homestead as well.

Thanks-if you could post any live sets from this band that would be awesome, they are hard to come by.

i've been digging this since i picked it up in like '86 after hearing sun god on a local college station. found skag heaven in the cut-out bin @ cheap thrill in new brunswick, nj the next year...

here's some live/demo stuff i found on the interwebs god know's where/when.

the live set's a decent aud recording. no info other than xx/xx/87. can't say i've seen any other live stuff around the net though so this may be it...
