Here's another one for all you fellow Chicago freaks out there. If you ever come to decide one day, "I think I'll get hopped up on horse tranquilizers and start a band", the outcome might be similar to End Result. The first listen of their album (Ward, Ruthless Records 1985)will definitely be difficult, but upon the second and third you begin to appreciate their weird sort of sludge that still manages to pierce yours ears in some titillating way. The two instrumentals, Opening and Shameless, will win your favor right off the bat. Strike Under and Naked Raygun come to mind. As for the rest, you'll have to battle all the way through each one to find some enjoyment. I believe their only other output was two tracks off the Master Tapes Vol II comp. (Affirmation 1983) Both in the same vein as the album. Enjoy!(As much as you can.)

Thanks so much for this post. Until now, I had only heard the tracks from the Master Tapes Vol. 2. Keep 'em coming.
I know it's a bit late, but any chance of a repost on this? I have the record but my preamp is shit and my recordings end up with hum.
I'm with Quagmire. This whole Sharebee SNAFU is a bummer.
